Burak is the Head of VFX in IMAJ Post Production, Turkey’s leading post-production company. He has more than 24 years of experience in the industry,
working on hundreds of commercials and movie projects as a compositing artist, VFX supervisor and director. For the last 7 years, he has turned his attention more
to directing projects where he can contribute with his unique expertise in VFX. As a director, he mainly focuses on films that are green screen, VFX and animation heavy.
In 2008, he was awarded the Best Visual Effects in the prestigious Antalya Film Festival for his work in the movie of master director Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s Three Monkeys.
He was also the lead compositor and VFX Supervisor of many Cannes Film Festival winner movies like Climates, Three Monkeys, Once Upon A Time in Anatolia,
The Wild Pear Tree. Burak was born in 1972 in Istanbul. He holds a BA in Graphic Design from Marmara Fine Arts Faculty and MA in Multimedia Designfrom De Montfort University in UK.
